Civil Aviation Permits

Commercial unmanned aircraft operation in Turkey is regulated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Registration, permits, pilot licensing and insurance are the operator’s responsibility.

UAV-2 and UAV-3 class aircraft registration.

Commercial flight operating permit.

Pilot roster holding remote pilot licences and valid medical certificates.

Third-party liability insurance.

Restricted and prohibited airspace checks, regional permit applications where required, flight notification and airspace coordination are handled separately for every mission.

These processes are completed on our side; no additional permit work is expected from the client.

The date, duration, platform, pilot and route of every flight are recorded and made available to the client or the competent authority on request.
